spearing mantis shrimp

i seen a spearing mantis shrimp at my lfs was wondering if anyone has had one or can provide me with some info?

it was striped it was white and black

I would pass on it unless you are really dedicated to keeping mantis shrimp. The L. macualta (likely what it is) needs a specialized, dedicated tank (very deep sand bed) and they aren't very active or interactive. They spend most of their time burrowed in the sand only coming out to feed.

If that is what you're looking for then, they aren't difficult to keep and have a long life span.
