This pair of Hawaiin Sphex Lionfish are being put up for auction. They are beautiful fish, to those who love Lionfish and it's a great opportunity to get a pair of them for a low price. The shipping will be an additional $50, unless the bidding goes over $500, in which case it'll be included in the price. We'll try to post a video of them a little later as well. Good luck!

These did not get a bid. Just extended auction for 24 hours and lowered starting bid to $300. Steal!

cool fish! How big are these guys and while I've seen "dwarfs", wasn't too sure how big these really get. Love the auction idea - thanks!

The bigger one is about 6.5". The max they get is 6.5-7", so he's just about full grown.

These are an endemic species that is rarely exported and is a crown jewel to most collectors.

Unfortunately they still look like normal lionfish to us non-collectors ;)

Trying to get a better understanding of something that looks like something pretty ordinary for a price that is listed ? in this hobby their are so many people claiming they have a 1 in a million piece of coral , or rare fish ???

however when a response is entered calling someone a fool from a " sponsor " and reply's are deleted it gets confusing ??

So , all i was saying or asking was for a little better clarification in a description for those of us that are , i guess , not as educated in the direct species of special fish that looks like an every day common lion fish ?

Just search the species on Google, it'd be quicker as well.

I might point you towards the terms of service (https://www.reef2reef.com/help/terms):
Also, you were "calling out" (being rude to) another member. It was not a sponsor who replied to you.
