Hey guys!

Here's a quick one on the Tunze Care Magnet cleaners! Have you used these or are using them for your tank? ;)

I own a couple of these and LOVE them! Seriously one of my favorite tools. It's like being able to use a razorblade (although not as sharp) without the rust and without getting your hands wet!

I have the Long model for the 90 gallon tank with 1/2” glass and the Nano model for the other two tanks. Love that I can clean below the sand bed without fear of scratching the glass!

I've used them since they first came out and I love them. No more scratches from sand!

Literally about a minute every other day and your glass is always clean!

My acrylic is just under 1/2" thick, is there any benefit in getting the strong as opposed to the long? Stronger scraping power with the stronger magnets?

Surprised people think this is a good product. I bought one, used it a couple times and went back to my mag float.

I've used Mag Floats for about 15 years until I got the Tunze Care Magnet. The blades are just so much better in scraping away hard algae like green spot algae and coralline algae.

I still use my Mag Floats though - to hold nori sheets.

You'd likely get stronger pressure on the scraping blades due to the stronger magnets, which would make it more effective at that harder algae. :)

The blades are good at scraping when they don’t fall off. It would have been nice if the thing floated as well. Going from front panel to side panel is a PITA. Just my opinion of course

True, I also don't like this part about the magnet. It's probably a patent thing.
