There's actually a couple times a yr that a significant sale occurs online for IO that drops the landed price to $.16-.18/g corrected for a 1.026 mix.

Last set of 160g buckets I purchased online were $25/bucket ($.16/g).

First water change was yesterday and it mixed clean, I like that you can see the ICP results from the batch number. Second water change is today and also mixed clean.

I recently did a new build and used a mix of of old water and new water all from TM Turkey along with AWC from TM Turkey and has some odd tenuis issues and lost a few. I end on here and found all of the reported issues and figured not worth the risk. All of my acros never missed a beat, just tenuis so who knows. I’m not blaming TM for the losses and I’m just going to move on, interesting enough my tenuis all responded immediately from the water change.
And where are you finding it? It's surprisingly difficult to order.

Just switched from TM Pro to Aquaforest Reef after using Pro for 3 years
I was just about to switch the other way - from AF to TM Pro. May I ask what was the reason for your change and if you have any suggestions? Should I stick to AF (not that I have any particular issues).

It's actually available worldwide, but overseas TM is a local salt. TM is actually cheaper then IO overseas. Seen many from over the pond that have posted that in the last few weeks.
Close, but not cheaper. The difference between the two in EU is certainly much smaller than in the US.
IO box (20 Kg) is around 45-50 Euros in Europe, while TM Pro refill (20 Kg) is around 55-60 Euros, so some 10-20% difference.

And here in the states, it's a huge difference.

Regular old purple box IO can be had for roughly $45 a box(cheaper on sale), while the box of TM is upwards of a $100. I can buy 2, sometimes 3(when I find a super sale) boxes of IO for the cost of one box of TM. I'll take the extra money I don't spend on salt, for more frags!

Huge difference for salt. I don't care what TM claims, salt is salt they all work.

ESV but it's not in the poll. Best salt on the market with real differences.

All salts work though. Pick what you want and roll with it

I was all about Aquaforest, however in my area it became impossible to access, so made the switch to Tropic Marine and stuck with it. I use a bucket per month, so typically purchase 6 at a time.

Dear colleagues,
Tropic Marin Pro, no extra additives and normally mixed after 6h.
Mostly due to the low Alk and clean after mixing.
Cheers!

I don’t understand. Anyone can purchase corals and place them in an aquarium. Looks like a lot of maricultured corals placed on the bottom or on rock. Nothing looks mature/encrusted etc. Therefore, mentoring anyone should be taken with a grain of salt.
