I have been losing SPS coral for the past months. My water parameters are fine and stable. I think I have something eating them but not too familiar with SPS pests. Does anyone know what the purple things in picture 1 are and the dark spots in picture 2 are? Thanks!

The first pic looks like vermetid snails. I'm guessing they moved in after the coral died. They won't directly kill corals, but they can irritate them with their fishing lines.

The second pic looks like the polyps of the coral, but recessed into the skeleton. Pic is hard to make you for sure.

Even though you suspect some type of pest, it would be best to post your parameters, tank age, lighting and flow information.
