I hope this community find this post humorous. I recently purchased a bi-color benny. I noticed my xenia had been nipped at, so I suspect the benny is the culprit, but I don't want to convict without evidence. The trouble is that it's behavior is different if I'm around the tank. In addition, my cleaner shrimp is also harassing some corals, but when I walk up, it jumps to meet me. I decided to use a binocular to observe from afar and catch them in the act. LOL. Just curious if anyone ever tried this or does this sound stupid?

I have a pair of binoculars that were made to ID butterflies. I think they are Pentax brand. Anyways, focal distance is about 2 feet. I have used these for over 8 years looking at all sorts of things in my tank.

I’ve never used binoculars But I did use my 70-300 zoom lens on the dslr before. I was sitting across the room and watching and snapping a few pics.

You sir, might be a predator.... spying on the fish without permission. I mean, that’s just wrong in so many ways.

Good thing I’m adding a camera to my tank ;)
