For some reason my St Thomas shrooms look great and then die after a few months. None of my other mushroom are affected. I lost a blue one after 3 months, a red one was rather quick, but this nice yellow and blue has been solid for 4 months then in the past 24 hours got all melty.

Sound like they got the Krakatoa syndrome. Some corals tend to do well for a limited time and then for no reason that I could imagine just go from being completely healthy to dead

I've got the same problem with certain zoas and mushrooms as well, some stains will do fantastic and grow like wild fire and other one survive fire a few months and then shrink into nothingness
