What primer and paint did you use to paint exterior of stand and canopy? Need to do that shortly, and have to figure out what to use in that regard. Thanks

may want to look into waterproofing the hood. eventually with the salt and spray the wood will start to take a beating.

this project is looking great!

Nice. You didn’t put valves on the down flow and emergency. I’ve seen some that have, and others like yours that did not. Trying to decide if I need them when my tank arrives. My first sump tank.
No need. It’s on the pipe that’s completely submerged. There’s an emergency overflow and one set up like a bean, as an secondary drain.

Stand looks great. I am just starting my stand build and hope it looks half as good as yours. I am certainly no carpenter. but I have high hopes.

Also, what overflow box are you using?

Not sure if I saw it what's the dimensions of the tank..

That stand looks beautiful. And i like how you redid the hood. Most hoods are too short putting the lights right on the water.

My next tank is going to be a custom 5ft tank. I'm going 26 tall and 32 deep (front to back)
