starfish v.s powerheads

Are starfish in danger of powerheads with gaps inn them? I have the reefwave 45 in a 65 gallon tank. Can i add brittle or ordinary starfish? Would they be in danger of the powerhead? I had some animals get killed by the powerhead that's why im asking

Yes, but unlikely to be a problem as they typically hang out at the bottom of the tank under rocks.
