Just saw this crawling on my rock. Looks like a starfish. Thx!

yeah. asterina. I personally take them out because they multiply like crazy. They eat coralline algae too, which not not necessarily a bad thing, just leaves you with polka dot rocks sometimes =)

Thx you! I found some threads about them. I read they like zoas too. Which is where I picked this one from

I hear they sometimes bother corals. I see them from time to time in my tank. Sometime I use chopsticks to take them out. I’ve never noticed them on a coral though. If they become a problem harlequin shrimp eat them I think. But they only eat them so I’ve heard some people just let them multiply in the sump to keep those shrimp fed. Not the worst hitchhiker.
