Hello Everyone,

I just received my 30.2 gallon WB tank in France :) it's my first reef tank and i have a lot of questions :)

1574090760-img-4759-low-size.jpg

I m thinking of adding the following materials (if you think i have better options, please tell me) :
- Skimmer Tunze 9004
- AI prime light 55W
- Silent syncra 1.5

And I am wondering which equipement to buy for :
- Pump (1 or 2), which brand would you recommend ?
- Heater (Brand ?)

Also I wonder if i need to add more bacteria support than what s provided from WB ?

Thanks a lot for you help

Welcome to R2R!!! There are many solid pumps - I encourage you to include the #reefoctopus Varios line in your consideration.

Welcome to the REEF @Joreef92! Nice system to start out with. You can get a ton of information online about all kinds of gear. I would check out the @Bulk Reef Supply and @premiumaquatics videos on Youtube. They have some great information on a lot of the equipment they sell.

Howdy
Sounds like good choices
I would try to find a heater with a separate controller and probe. Something that will turn on, go over your set temp by 1 degree and then turn back on 1 degree below your set temp. Fewer cycles means longer lasting.

Do you think - AI prime light 55W will be enough or i need something stronger like AI hydra 32?

Hi. Welcome to R2R!

You picked a great tank to start with! Lighting will depend on what you would like to keep for corals. I have a Red Sea nano Max-e, roughly 2/3rds the size of your waterbox, with an AI prime and it was fine for soft corals and lps but not for sps. The light runs very bright in the middle but the edges of the tank were shaded until I added some T5 supplements. I think you would be better off going up to Hydra.

Best of luck!
