Ok so I’m planning on getting a 180 gallon Maine tank with coral I’m not 100% sure yet but I’m like 75% sure and I want to decide on stocking before I get my tank. I would love a blue tang as I already have 2 percula clowns in my 22 gallon tank that I will move to the new tank so it could be like a nemo and dory , I also would like a porcupine puffer but I’m aware they can eat coral and arent great for beginners. There aren’t many fish I don’t like so I’m open to most things but I would prefer fish that aren’t likely to jump as I don’t think the tank will have a lid unless I get a mesh or clear lid I love cow fish but I know they aren’t great for beginners

There are other puffers you can keep with reef, though I love porcupine puffers I've not had one for years, I did have one that was in a soft dominated reef tank, he ate what he wanted, snails, polyps etc. With a 6' tank I'd want similar to what I have in my 220:
Blue tang
Dejardini sailfin tang
Mandarin Gobi (always a must for me)
Clowns (any) mine tomato
I'd stay away from angels but have 2, blue girdle and regal
I love engineer Gobi but some don't like the digging
Lots of small fish make good moving.
I don't currently have these but...
Cardinals don't move much but are cool
Damsels can be mean but the azure are pretty and less jerks
Firefish, but must have lids
Wrasse are good sometimes murder shrimp
I have shrimp peppermint, maybe 6 hard to count all at once.
Good export and you can balance territory and keep quite a bit, few large many smaller.

Wow your tank looks great , honestly I wouldn’t get another puffer unless I absolutely couldn’t get a porcupine puffer I want a lot of movement so I will be going for corals like anemones that move with the water maybe some LPS though I’m not sure yet so fish like tangs that swim a lot would be good so I actually quite like that stocking list I should probably make my own list for stocking the tank
