I picked up a good sized green star polyp. Got it home and inspected it and as my very first coral I ever im kind of clueles. But I see something I believe to be aiptasia. Then I see it all over. now I really don’t know the difference between baby gs polyps and baby aiptasia

Another odd yet interesting creature is what looks like a green slime with spikes

And one other looks like a purple or black smooth glob of jelly

Any help would be great. Thanks

So how do I tell the difference between feather dusters and aiptasia?

Aiptasia has smooth brownish tentacles. Feather dusters don’t have tentacles, they have what literally looks like a feathers (hence the name). Sometimes you can see the hard tube they live in as well.
