Stringy algae and grey algea

It's not something new, it is something I have had for months but I just got some new corals and would like to increase my lights a bit.

So on one side of my tank you will see these strings going around on the rocks.

On the other side of the tank you will see this grey-ish like gathering of dust. Only gathering on low light.

I'm assuming it's two different kinds of algeas.
I ordered a few more Astrea snails and I usually do weekly or monthly water changes. Lights used to be on for 8 hours and I have increased that to 10. I have also increased flow lately.
I can't tell you my parameters at the moment but I can check a bit later.

I would like to know if they can take over and if there are steps to removing them that I might be missing
