Hey all,

Im looking into building a DIY reef tank for my office, create a short wide tank, that I can culture some frags and let fish flow around in. Much like the ones at the reef gallery but just on a smaller scale.

I saw this YouTube video:

Anyone have there own ideas or suggestions who have had more experience.

Much appreciated in advance

The frag tanks at the reef gallery were built by Miracles aquariums I believe, your most affordable option is to find a deep blue or seapora 30 or 60 frag tank. I have 2 deep blue 60s as well as a custom 80g frag tank built by CDA in California.

Not sure what you mean, you contact a custom tank builder give them the specs and options you want and they give you quote if you like the quote you pay and wait for your tank to be built which varies from builder to builder. I had CDA do a external overflow so they drilled it and did everything themselves.

ok fair, so I should be asking, what's a fair priced tank build it seems.
Depends on size, options, builder, my CDA 80g was $1,800 which wasn’t the cheapest but also not the most expensive by far. It was the best lead time and nicest optioned tank for me
