I have had numerous skimmers over the years IMO Reef Octo still the BEST all Round, BEST Price, well made, easy adjustment. I Tried LIFEReef, Bubble magus, Tunze ,Icecap, Simplicity and Ultrareef and all round Classic on my Tanks were reasonably priced and ALWAYS out performed the others. So IMO and experience I can recommend reef OCTO with confidence< Good Luck!

Some have an air intake adjustment built in, others rely on DC pump speed adjustment instead.

But all have an airline you can extend to an outer window, attach a CO2 scrubber to or add a small valve to make it adjustable if it isn’t already.

If you’re looking for affordability - the Bubble Magus are quite good for their price.

I have an Aqua-Excell for my display tank, it's a chinese knockoff of a Bubble Magus or something. Anyways it is very high quality, good construction, solid acrylic seams and works most excellent. I actually got it at the LFS where I bought my tank at, they said they come from SeaSide Aquatics in California, it was right at $200.

I have a Bubble Magus Curve A8 for my frag system, it is a bit smaller than the Aqua-Excell and works about the same. The Bubble Magus A8 was $275 on sale from AquaCave a year ago.

I made a needle wheel for a DC Jebao pump and installed it into the Aqua-Excell and boy did it wake that skimmer up! A Jebao 3500 was a direct replacement for the standard pump that it came with. I had to fabricate a needle wheel for it though. I can show you how I did it, it wasn't hard to do at all, took an evening at the most, makes more fine bubbles than the skimmer can handle lol.
