If you can confirm you get a male and female neon goby it can work but two males will fight and two females are 50/50

Agreed. Just stick to the one Neon goby. They are underrated! Mine is the most voracious eater in my tank, and I have two clownfish!!

FYI they are a cleaner fish, so if you see it nipping at fish or like laying ontop of them, its totally normal!
