700 degress celcius is as low i'd go... 1060 celcius is just right temperatureWell I think we are all finally seeing the heat of summer, well most of us here in the US that is! Already hit 95 degrees here although today is a bit cooler. With that high heat comes fighting the temperature of your tank and trying to keep it at an acceptable level. But what is an acceptable level? Let's talk about it today!
1. What is your target summer time temperature for your reef tank?
2. What temperature do you think it too high and when do you start to worry?

I think the misconception is that it requires heating to heat it more.My tank stays 78f. Can't imagine why you'd want to heat it any more than that... Certainly never more than 80f. Waste of energy heating the thing, for zero benefit. My system alarms, turns on the fan, and shuts down the AP700's at 79f.
