I bought this monti frag a week ago, and it started developing many small white circles at the base of the growing caps. Does anyone know if it is bleaching, or if its a disease or parasite? Or is it normal growth?

Yea I dipped it before adding. Some tiny fan worms came off it but, nothing else that looked alive. Should I try dipping it again?Did you dip it in coral dip before placement in your tank?

I re-dipped, and these small copepod looking things came off it. By any chance do you what they are? if not I'll ask the hitchhiker ID forum. Thanks for the help!Yes, could have had eggs left behind from the dip.
ThanksThats interesting. I would say you probably have something eating it. It is light in color but bleaching is usually more uniform. I definitely see white areas of what could be eaten flesh?
Hopefully someone with more experience with pests can help.
