I don't think I've ever commented on my Neptune flow sensors since I initially built my manifold. Here's an example of the value of having flow sensors on my media reactors: The graph below shows the flow through my carbon reactor, and over the past week it has slowly dropped from 100 gph to 50 gph as sediment builds up. When I see it drop this low, I remove the reactor to clean the filters and replace the carbon.

Awesome corals, I think it would be a great addition to your thread if you could also add coral names, I know I’m asking too much but it could be a great reference. Thanks for sharing all your great experiences.

That's not too much to ask, and I agree it's valuable! I went back and added the names on the previous post, and over time I'll update some of my older photo posts with the coral names.

I'm assuming its attached after the reactor?

Yes, my flow sensors are on the output pipe from the reactors. However, on my next build I will place the flow sensors on the input pipe to the reactors to reduce the chance of any carbon or GFO granules from clogging the sensor. Every now and then a sensor will read zero and then I need to take it apart to un-jam the impeller.

Good tip thanks!

Is that a pipefish? How does it handle the flow in the tank? Heard they're good against some pests but like low flow and peacefull tankmates because of slow eating?

Yes, I have two dragonface pipefish to hopefully take care of my red bug infestation. You can see more of them in posts #462 and #481 of this thread. They don't swim in the strongest areas of current, but they're able to keep close to the rock surface and use their tail to hold in place while pecking at the acros even in fairly strong flow.

Here's an updated version of the macro video I posted yesterday. I added several additional corals (28 in total) and listed names for each. (please excuse any mis-named corals as a couple are unknown)

I just picked up an AquaMaxx Coral Eye flashlight for night time coral viewing:

Here are some photos I shot tonight after lights out. The flashlight does a pretty good job of bringing out a lot of colors:

Here's a time-lapse video after feeding Reef Roids to my scoly at night. I shined a UV flashlight on it to capture the colors. The elapsed time of filming was 18 minutes, but compressed down to a 1 minute clip:

Last week I posted a video showing my diamond goby preparing his burrow for bedtime and then diving in. This time, I captured it in 240 fps slow motion:

I think the blue chromis were thinking, "Whoa...what the heck just happened? Where did he go?".
