Great topic! You should make this a poll. I say keep them but control them. Either through feeding or predators. Just a personal opinion.

I personally tend to feed heavy. Heavy in, heavy out. I keep a melanaurus wrasse that keeps the display pretty clear. The sump is a different story.

Keep.

Great natural food source for some fish.
Great natural clean up crew.
Super awesome early indicator of nutrients related to feeding and nutrient export.
Awesome pulse on overall tank health.

I could keep going but you get the general idea. They are clean up members and scavengers. They are not apex predators. On top of that to say you don't have them is to not really understand our little marine ecosystem because we all have them. Some more than others and others only a few. The minute we introduce something into our tank it is no longer sterile...

In any case they are good to have. Scratch that. They are "GREAT" to have.
