Well, my cuc feasted on my diamond goby. It stopped eating and had lost weight. Even tried target feeding. So sad

And this plate coral is just unreal. I read tentacles should be about 3/4" long. Some of these are 1.25! Wonder if it is a long tentacle plate?

pic of urchin with bits on him. After a month he finally found the sand and grabbed some camouflage. 1st plate at night, next day

I have seen nothing but good things said about @gws3, so glad you got chunks and not nubs as well. Always nice to have something with more than 5 polyps lol.

well, another DD story/rant/gripe

This morning I observed what might have been mating behavior between 2 of them. Swimming in and out and around one rock branch. Then I tried to mount my darth maul porites on that branch and holy heck. 1 of them was determined to remove it or destroy it. Had to remove the coral!

Had planned to try to remove some of them but couldn't find my left over diy screen. Must ask hubby what he did with it...

New corals. Hope they like their new home! My fingers are glue and putty encrusted! Took a good 2.5 hrs to get these corals in! Used up all my epoxy and 2 things of super glue. Time to go eat and then watch my corals lol's

So, took some pics of that rock the damsels guards. There appears to be something under. No other rock has this. Eggs perhaps? That damsels stays right there for the most part.

A bumper crop of DD's! What are the chances that the only fish that successfully breed in your tank are your nemesis? :grinning-squinting-face:

Yup, they be eggs. People think damsels are bad, once they start laying all the time, they are crazy.

have you tried to catch them with a hook and line, piece of wax worm as bait ?
may work well dangling by egg clutch ... ;)

I need to buy some tiny barbless hooks. Trust me, thinking about it. Will try the screen netting as soon as I can find it...
