Yea I’m going to have 6 Mp40s on the back wall. Three high and three low. I’m really wanting to keep the end panels empty this go around. But the flow pattern will either work or not work this way. We’ll see. I really don’t wanna use the gyres this time. I want to keep all the cords out of the tank.

I think with 6 MP60s you won't have a problem with flow . good luck

I hated the look of the overflow in those 900’s. way too big.

Thanks guys, I’m pretty excited to get this plumbed in and running.

The bulkheads that came with the Fiji Cube overflow were not long enough for 3/4” glass. I had to pick up some standard 1 1/2” ones. You can see the difference in this picture.

now like every other reefer I’ll get out my “box of plumbing things” and add some new bulkhead fittings to it........(for someday?)

Once the box was put on there wasn’t enough threads available. You can see the new, longer bulkheads in this picture. They are perfect.

Cut the 6 posts for the stand on Friday when I was at the job site. Four corners will be like the top one and the two in the middle will have a center brace also, so two are like the lower one just opposite notches on the top.

The 265 came down this weekend

I’m already missing the extra countertop. It was nice to sit in front of the tank. The wife is happy that we got to move the living room around though.
So I’m happy.

Here’s a look at it with only Kessils running. I love the spread of the XR30s but I have to have some shimmer an a tank.
I ended up only using 3 of my 4 xr30s in the middle then a xr15 on each end. I also squeezed in two 360we for shimmer.

Next will be time to skin it all in hardwood.

Wondering about the countertop. What did you use ?
