Hello R2R’s,
I am starting this thread because I’ve slowly been acquiring some beautiful frags and I would like to attempt to document the acquisition as well as coral progression. Id like to share my pics here so they aren’t just sitting in my iPhone camera roll where no one sees them but me lol. Enjoy!

at least yours has some purple, i have an all green one after i killed a nice "marbled" frag. couldn't stomach another 1000$ to try again. hopefully i will eventually get some purple.

at least yours has some purple, i have an all green one after i killed a nice "marbled" frag. couldn't stomach another 1000$ to try again. hopefully i will eventually get some purple.

I paid $1600 for that little nub in the middle.

Unfortunately I made a dumb mistake and put a sea hare in the frag tank to help with GHA. Well my wrasse killed it and it released its toxin in the system. I lost your AB and quite a few others. Very expensive, bonehead mistake... I did end up getting a frag from TSA later on. I’ll try to get a shot of it soon. It’s kind of a finicky, low light coral for me.

The SBB Live Sale acquisitions delivered on 12-7-21. I am a bit rough on new additions. I have a ton of money wrapped up in my system and I cannot afford to take chances with new pieces, regardless of who they come from. So I generally do a 7-10 minute Bayer bath and then carefully trim away the existing plug and super glue and re-mount. So far, this practice has kept me safe for going on 2 years now! Usually the corals will be drab colored for several weeks after this process. With that being said, check out the amazing colors already coming thru on these 3. I am most impressed Shane!

Here is an attempt at trying to get him to suck his polyps in so we can see that beautiful yellow skin.....He refused lol
