Wanted to show a quick 1 month update on the BKChem Jumanji. This is one of the few corals that look good in blue light but look amazing in full spectrum. Pic taken in all blue. I’ll get a full spectrum shot next time hopefully. Amazing growth at the base. It’s covering the putty ball now and spilling down onto the new plug o_O

Yeah, me too. I don't even know what my irons are, they were hand me downs from my dad 15 plus years ago. My game hasn't really justified better clubs, though the last couple years i have been at least thinking about a new set.

Well let me jump in and say that I was of the belief that I was not good enough for a new set of brand name clubs. Used to use off the shelf beginner's set that was no more than 200.00.

That changed last summer I was fortunate enough to win some money at the blackjack table and went off to splurge on a full bag fitting at the PGA Superstore. Let me tell you if you are in the market for a new set of clubs I HIGHLY recommend getting fitted and having the clubs sized and weighted to your swing. Just by changing my equipment I am hitting the ball further with every club in my bag and my putting has drastically improved. I will reiterate that I by NO means changed anything in my swing what so ever. The one fitting will definitely recommend is the putter fitting could not believe the difference in my ability to get the ball started on the line of my choosing more consistently. Money well spent IMO.

Back to some eye candy ;)

I had to take a filtered phone pic of this area of the frag tank this morning. Colors are popping along with some nice PE. This is actually what the eye sees when my blue lights are on in the morning. Frags are showing moderate but steady growth over the last month.

This is a shot of 1/3 of the frag tank where I am experimenting with colonies and their colors potentially changing going from Ocean Revives to Radions. I moved the colonies a little over a month ago and I can already see some slight changes (for the good) in several colonies.

Dintrators and biolpellet reactors are two tools I've never been tempted with. Must be an advanced aquarist thing cause every time I read about them around here people are tearing their hair out with them.

Is there a secret to their utility?

Oh my that Jumanji. Oh my.

LOL! Ya, they’re special. Especially when they’re happy. Man, you just can’t get those kinds of colors in anything else. Definitely my favorite!

Yes I am using the denitrator. I would have to check my log for the exact date that I put the drip back in the sump but I’m thinking it’s been 3 weeks since it cycled... You had mentioned before that no good acro grower has used a denitrator long term. My buddy @coralbeauties is the one that turned me on to it about 4 years ago. He’s been a stick head for a very long time and he used one for years. That’s why I feel they’re safe. It’s really just an environment you’re creating for anaerobic bacteria. Nothing too scientific.
