The red mercury looks sharp! Do you offer customizations for an extra charge? I would like one made with a 2 piece lid for the center chamber that has a hole cut to size to fit the skimmers that you sell. Something similar to the lids on the Royal exclusiv dreambox.
Funny that I just saw this post. I was thinking about ordering an Atomic Green SS-44, but I noticed their on backorder. So I sent an email to Vanessa yesterday asking when the SS-44 was going to be back in stock.
I have one Atomic Green SS-34 sump for my grow-out system..... it's Awesome. Plenty of room for my Protein Skimmer, Pump, Probes and easy access to all of my equipment. Have you ever considered making them out of Neon Blue acrylic material?
I would like to order this exact combo sump and ATO. One question. I do not run filter socks and do not need the first drain section. I want just the skimmer chamber than fuge than return. Would a customization like this be possibles?
@PristineWaters We would still have the sock chamber in there as that wall provides structural support in the sump design. We can make you some sock plates that go in the holes to help silence the water with no socks.
Hi, wanted to know if you are accepting orders and shipping CL-44, saw that it is in back order. Thanks in advance
@Spanks2 Yes we are taking orders for these. They are always on back order because they are built to order. Right now they are about 2 weeks out with current orders.
@Dogtown We do offer some customizations, but are limited. We do not offer 2 part lids over the skimmer sections. Having the complete sump covered causes moisture buildup in sumps and can lead to mold issues. We do not advise completely sealing up a sump with lids.
@Addicted2ACRO's Awesome! I think she is talking with you now. Thanks for the support and being a repeat customer! We can do it in Neon Blue as well. We stock that color also.
The red mercury is pure sexy....

Do you guys do custom builds ?
@mixer911 - Hi Rick, I just put up and installed your 20'' external overflow box on my new SCA150 that I am in the process of building. I have decided to go with your CL-44 sump , the Black and red mercury color so I don't have to reduce down and run my 1.5'' drains all the way down to the sump..
I will be running two Ecotech Marine Vectra M1 pumps, 1 for each return and a Clear Water Scrubber which I have attached. I was wondering do you need to build something for the scrubber to sit on or is the CL-44 have room for it on top?
I don't know anything about those scrubbers so not sure of the dimensions of it. Most people just have their scrubbers sit directly on top of the sump on the eurobrace.
Can the return bulkhead be changed from 1" to 1-1/4"? I have a VarioS-8 pump and the included return line is 1-1/4" diameter. I would prefer to be able to maintain that.
Also, what is the "heater holder"? I can't seem to find a photo of what that looks like.
I want to run one of your CL-44 Red Mercury sumps w/out a refuge and heater brackets to match my 20'' synergy external overflow box so I can manily run my drains all 1.5''. Do you happen to know the approx Lead-time on one of your CL-44'S?
Your reply Rick, would be great appercaited.
CL44's as of today are about 10 -14 days out.
Hello Synergy Reef
I’m looking to change out the sump on my Red Sea reefer 525 xl. Red Sea does not use standard sizes. I want to be able to incorporate a Kilr filter which typically fits into a 4” ( or 7”) filter sock holder. I assume you are familiar with these tanks. What options can you offer? Looking forward to hearing from you.
Yes we are familiar with them. They are weird sizes. Our CL34 sumps will work for the 525XL. We do offer a Klir compatible version of the CL34 for the 4" version. I believe you may have emailed us as well. We can go over the details in the email. Thanks for asking!
Great. I’ll wait for your email for more detail.
