Hi everyone

I am building a nano sps tank with the RSM max nano system
I Have the stock reefled 50 light but I really like the t5 look better than LED so I was thinking about getting a T5 lighting system
Thing is, I've noticed that most companies only go as low as 24W

Is there any relatable and recommended T5 18W lighting systems for such a purpose?

Evening,

Sorry so late in responding and #WelcometoR2R

I am not aware of anything lower than 24” t5 but I would guess there should be something out there. Maybe someone around tonight runs a setup like that.

Welcome! Unfortunately there were some short lived T5 18" fixtures. Current USA "Nova" and Coralife fixtures. There were not many of them sold so I believe they were discontinued. I know SaltwaterAquarium.com still sells the 18" current bulbs and some Petco's still have the Coralife fixtres/bulbs. Unfortunately the options are limited. Good luck finding a fixture. Maybe try looking at Home Depot, Lowes or hardware stores for the under cabinet T5 fixtures. I recall seeing some 12-18" fixtures which may now be replaced with LED T5 Bulbs but still could be compatible with 18" T5 bulbs. Only concern there is the ballast most likely wouldn't be HO.
