I cant attach the fixture to my stand or ceiling and wanted to know what i could do? Thank you!

Main feature im look for
-Height adjust-ability

Here is an option if you have a rimmed tank.
You cant adjust it vertically but really dont need to.
I siliconed T Slot bars to the rimmed section and added door sliders.
The T5 unit sits on the sliders and slides out of the way.
4" off the surface.

That would work perfect!

Here is the thread where I put it together. Was super simple. Took me like 30 mins only because of letting paint dry.

Yes I can adjust mine by lowering the whole unit. I can go from a range of 15”-5” above water height. Just just the legs of the pipe shorter so you can adjust as needed.

@WIReefer was that galvanized pipe? Also trying build a custom one. I really liked this one

Not sure... It’s just standard piping from menards and painted it black with a flat black spray paint.

This is what holds all the piping together it’s very sturdy. I just loosen these couple of screws on each end and slide the piping on each side to desired height.

Love the idea but don't think it will work for me as I dont want to attach anything to the stand!

Gotcha the wife didn’t want me to hang from ceiling or wall... so I had to get creative. It looks pretty slick way better than I thought it would.
