This is pure visual representation of data taken from BRS. I haven't seen this comparison.

The numbers made me wonder... If we took the higher grade ATI reflectors and put them in the AquaticLife fixture would PAR be identical?

I can't test this, but the difference is notable between the two fixtures, and in theory all that's different is the reflectors themselves.

(Don't mind the phone pics... I'm having a "screenshot corrupt issue while trying to make this thread")

The ballasts may be different and the ventilation (no fan on the AquaticLife) is a difference as well. Additionally, the two banks of two T5s are spread out vs all together in the ATI fixture. T5 PAR was disappointing in my own fixture, producing only 21% more PAR than the two T5 LET retrofit they replaced.

In your own fixture do you mean an Aquatic Life T5 hybrid?

Correct about the fan. Although I recall BRS saying taking off the acrylic shield and running the fan on lowest setting, or just turning the fan off made the best PAR, so I figured things were relatively equal in that respect.

Both fixtures SHOULD be using HEP ballasts, so the ballasts should also be exactly the same, I believe.

Yes, I have an AquaticLife. They advertise HEP ballasts but that doesn't mean they're the same model (I don't know what's in there, I haven't looked).

Edit: Results from my measurements are posted here

Wow, and your 4 bulb was only 21% more par than your 2 bulb LET system? That's interesting!
