Tampa Bay area reefers

I'm here in Tampa FL with the family for a bit over a week.. Can any locals direct me to any beaches or areas with local critters, tide pools, etc? Anything along those lines to take in the local biomes..

My wife and girls all like the hobby and I would like to surprise them by taking them somewhere sweet- that's a local knowledge type thing.
