Tang+ chromis.

Hi guys my half black mimic rang has been aggressive towards my chromis aggressively swimming into them only less than a day in the tank (chromis) tang been in a while (1month).

Any thoughts? i

Lights are off at the moment that’s why. will add in morning.

Stock list:
Purple firefish
2x clowns
pink face wrasse
half ball mimic tang (small/medium)
5x chromis

Give the tang a mirror to play with. It’ll spend the day going after it’s reflection. Should make it less attentive to the Chromis. I’ve found it works best for me if I put it close to where I put the algae clip.

60 odd gallons is pretty small for a medium tang of this species -- it could be stressed and acting out on the chromis. Are you upgrading? Until then, I'd remove the chromis.

Tbh my tank itself the side glass acts as a mirror i’m sure if i can see 2x of them it can too. Just worried about adding tangs later on.

Probably not. It looks like a mirror to you because of the angle you're looking at the side glass at. Its something I learned in physics last year called " Total internal Reflection " if you wanna look into it.

My point, a mirror is still an option
