I'm sure it's fashionable. Greta is a fashionista and wouldn't dream of wearing something without a designer name on it.Just like grand dad in rubber boots? or is that fashionable now?
How big are your gsps? I know they can get up to six inches but I've seen posts about them stopping growing in full marine. Just wondering because I'm about to transfer mine to full marine but I want him to get a bit bigger.Hi Paul,
Greetings from Canada! I’ve been following your thread for a while now, since I started a SW tank for my puffers in 2016.
I do a few things differently from most in the hobby, and usually I don’t talk about it because it’s tiring to defend myself.
First, I use tap water (+Prime). We have probably the best water in the world here in Vancouver BC, and I just don’t think I need to run RODI when the water reads about 7 TDS straight out of the tap.
I use Instant Ocean -the cheapest salt.
Also, I have never quarantined. I feed like you do, as we also enjoy a wild variety of seafood here. So my fish eat better than I do
I’ve never lost a fish to disease and yes, the tap water is fine for SPS.
I got into the hobby a little late so I won’t see my tank’s 50th birthday, but I hope I’ll enjoy this hobby for as long as I can. Thanks for all the info you post on here!

I shall now return to my tequila shot.![]()
