Tank cleaning and I noticed this in my sand

Hi so i recently got some now coral sand And when I was doing my fortnightly water change I found this in my sand and I can’t figure out what it is it looks like little pink little worms. I’m trying to figure out if they’re dangerous to my aquarium

I can't actually see the "worms" but will bet that you have spaghetti / hair worms. If you come back after lights out, you'll most likely see their tentacles waving about above the sand.

I can't make them out either but hopefully harmless, perhaps bristle worms?

It looks nothing like this tbh it’s small about 5mm long and red once I’ve took a closer look but thanks I appreciate the help

Google peanut worm. I don't see bristles, so I don't think it's a bristle worm.

Looks like small bristle worm with a full stomach. Most say they are harmless and part of CUC, just don't touch them with bare skin.

In my experience bristly worms are fairly harmless to most humans. They are kind of like mosquitoes in that different people have different immune system responses to them. They don't bother me at all.

Now there is a fire worm that is different, and typically bigger that has more bristles on it's back and can give you a much more serious sting. But even those ate more like bee stings. Worse than a mosquito bite, but still variable responses based on immune systems.
