well after along time i have almost completed my tank switch and the room it will be in upgrade. i hope to have it up and ready in a week or 2 max. i put alot of work into the room it will go in.
well photobucket won't let me copy anything so i will try for pics tomorrow

the stand in the room with my sump on top for now i did a water test to make sure the baffles were water tight. still have to wipe down the stand didn't notice until i looked at the pic.

yeah crazy isn't.
i got the pc fans installed on the top of the canopy and they pull out a lot more air than i thought and way less noise.

Do you have anything between the fan and the wood like a gasket or something to dampen the vibration? I had to take mine out of my canopy because they made a low pitch humming noise that was a little to noticeable.

no nothing and there really isn't vibration either but i might put something there anyway.

with the holidays and work being so crazy right now i have got as much done as i thought i would have. the tank is plumbed in and i will water test it today or tomorrow. glad we got new carpeting for that room lol.

tank and sump filled will water i had one small leak that i am fixing now.
i am using an external pump for the first time and was worried about the noise.this thing is very quite i have a quite one 5000 inside the tank and i cant even hear my external. the external pump is a coral life turbo sea 790p.

You like Vampire books I see. What do you use for that cover, and do you notice a noticeable decline in the light that gets through them to the corals or not really? I've been wanting to do something like that so I can keep a wrasse or two and a few other jumpers, but haven't due to those problems.
