Upgrading tank very shortly to the red sea reefer Deluxe 250L

Currently have ready to stock
Jecod 4000 return pump
Bubble Magnus curve 5 skimmer
45-50lb caribsea life rock on order

What heater would people recommend? Should this be placed in the sump? My previous tank was an all in 1 so this is my first attempt with a sump.

Is the return pump alone enough flow? Or should i put in a wavemaker or 2 also? I have a jebao SW4 in my current set up i could move over, would more/an upgrade be advisable?

nice upgrade!

heater will go in the sump ( not return chamber tho, just incase it runs dry)
yes you will still need some intake wave makers.

lots of good options out there. check out the reef breeders RPM pumps slim sleek and push alot of water and great price point.

also there are the MP10 & gyers RS and some new Gyres out too.

the SW4 will be OK while cycling but I feel you will want more flow.
what about ATO you will need one of those , a must IMHO

Thanks for the reply.

ATO at the mo is to use the standard ATO included with the tank.

Gyers and MP10 out of my price range (not really wanting to spend more than £100-£150 for 2) but will take a look at the RPM - not heard much about them before
