So after looking at my ICP test I think i found the culprit for color being washed away on some pieces. I need to start dosing, iodine, magnesium, and phosphate(already at .08-.1 via NeoPhos).

I am now starting to wonder if my chaeto and Eshopps skimmer is too effective.. In about a month i will start running my skimmer only 12 hours a day. No algae in the tank 130+ Astaea snails.

Quick update. Tank is doing great. my phos did go under .03 which i beleive caused a couple coral to RTN. JF Wedding Crashers, JF Homewrecker, SBB PopRocks.

Otherwise tank is extremely stable for the past 2 weeks dosing has been dialed in. Started to use Marin Pro salt.

Huge tank crash in May. I believe it was due to over feeding. Went from feeding once every 2-3 days to multiple times a day and I forgot to account for the waste. Massive amounts of detrius pulled from sump and gravel. My Ph was dropping and dosing was not helping and ALK was precipitating. Did multiple water changes and everything that survived is bouncing back great.

Some beautiful frags from the NY RAP Saturday event.

Added a Co2 scrubber which has helped stop my Ph from falling under 8.0 It was dropping to 7.7 at nights and its now 8.3 during the day.

Upgraded the sump light a a Viperspectra 600 and its very strong. I run it at 15% for 18 hours a day.
