Consider the pieces sold and then compare the end sale price to normal prices. Say the 4 AOIs for $60 is marked down to $50; only $10 off (oh wow by some of you alls standards) is still cheaper than most selling the AOI for $100 after the 50% off $200

I guess the business is supposed to sell everything at cost?

Just bought AOIs at $28 per polyp from another site...... Most live sales start at 20% off and go up from there.

You can gauge pricing on live sales by how many corals haven’t sold. Many sales after several hours will have maybe 5-10 higher end items that haven’t sold. You have over 40 unsold you’ve only dropped 125 or so.

If you are going to discount 10-20%, that’s cool. No need for live sale. Just list on website with 10-20% discount.

If you getting a box from TCK, you will be very happy. Quality speaks for itself

We appreciate the input Scott71. We try to price our corals fairly, and if something is off, we will adjust it for next time. We also try to pre-discount everything before running a "promo" sale, so the sale tag will look smaller. We could price a $50 coral at $200, and drop it back to 50 and call it a 75% off sale, but we prefer not to do that. Thank you

also... take a look at the frag sizes too

Some places will give your the tiniest little frag ever, some of these frags are easily over an inch and have multiple heads, or multiple branches.

personally I enjoy actually getting a good size frag like the ones TCK have been posting. I don’t feel like I’ve been cheated out when compared to other companies where I’ve spent upwards of $100 and get a frag the size of a dime.

I agree most lives sales do this. I like to see the true price of the coral and then see a smaller discount

Not to mention these are FRAGS! Like big juicy frags. Not those little malnourished dime size frags competitors give out.

I’ll actually be able to see this without squinting in my tank haha
