what device would y’all recommend to monitor temperature remotely and also get alerts. not trying to get an apex or ghl, i already control my pumps , ato and skimmer with HomeKit light strip so i see no use in spending hundreds of dollars on an expensive controller

You could do an inkbird ITC-308 to monitor it. I can also be used for controlling a chiller or heater, but would work for monitoring alone as well.
