Hi Ryan, maybe you could answer what is the difference between V3+ and the V4? Or possibly can Ophrek answer it. I have the V3+ and am happy with them. I wish the customer support was better. I still have the question of why the lights go through a "breath" mode before connecting to the gateway? On multiple occasions I have lost the connection resulting in my tank getting blasted with light at 100% for a few seconds and then nothing. It is aggravating having this happen at 2am and my fish think so too!

Hi , At the V4 if there is lost connaction the light will continue to work normal , you can set the program and turen off the getway,
You can email us for support to [email protected] all parts can be upgraded from even Atlantik v1 to V4 .
The spectrum in the v4 is wider then in the v3
Here you can find the Atlantik v4 vs Atlantik v3 spectrum .
As you can see the spectrum of the v4 is much better

Great video!
I have 5 Orpheks on my 8 X 3 MIXED REEF that has a depth of 3 ft which made LED lighting a challenge. I have been very pleased with the results but always wondered how they compared to other lighting options. Now I know!! Thank you James Gasta, the U.S rep and thank you BRS. FYI they have been running 3 years now without any problems. They are well built and not affected by salt spray at all.

How well would 2 of the compact V4 cover a 4ft tank? I’m trying to decide between the Orphek V4’s,the Kessil AP700, or 2 360W with 2 T5s.

I have both Kessil 360 and Compact V4 on different tanks. Far prefer the Orphek. Can’t comment on the AP700.mineis over a 24” cube so you should have more than enough coverage.

2 of the regular versions would be ideal. I’m curious to know how the compact ones perform on a 48” tank too.

Depends on how many fixtures you've got. As far as I can tell, the fans are pretty dang quiet. I've got 12 fans and I can't hear them at all.
