Does anyone know if these have a moonlight schedule that follows the moon phases?

@randyBRS @Ryanbrs. FINALLY these have arrived!

PLEASE do a test on this one! This could potentially be the most important step in LED evolution, bridging the gap between led and T5. Simulating the effect of LED + T5 with a LED only fixture should be groundbreaking, eliminating shadowing and discoball effect.

I currently have a 8x80w Giesemann Matrixx ii T5 and would replace with two of these (240w models) if they get the job done.

Would really like to see a review and check PAR distribution (are the strips just for looks or so they really help to provide wide even par distribution?), coverage and disco ball effect.

Pleeeeease!

I noticed on the @Orphek website for the Atlantik V4, it compares the V4's spectrum to chlorophyll b. Why is this?

Hello fellow atlantik users, I've had mine for a month now and I'm running the coral growth program at 50% above my shallow frag tank (I have the light mounted 14" above the tank and I get about 240-290 par across my 24" tank). I really like the colors but was wondering what everyone's thoughts are on the schedule. Is the 5hrs peak with ramp up and ramp down working for everyone. I'd love to hear what is working for everyone

I have been using V1 for 5month since October 2017 until I upgraded mine to V4 in Mid February 2018. I were really surprised right after the 1week slow acclimation pre program mode I follow exactly as told by Orphek team to use Coral Color then Coral Color + Growth.
My Forest Fire grow from 3inch now about 5inch multiple branches,my chyphastrea encrusted almost half the submarines. My zoa open n grow like crazy. My RBT split 6 and I have to keep giving to others most of the coral. I also noticed with V4 I were comparing why true paradise and green Flake in their tank grew smaller branches and coloration not glowing and bright as mine.

It doesn't stop me there, I even ordered 2unit of newly launch OR90 bar led from Orphek UV channel and another 1 is Blue Sky. Now I notice my SSC and my millies coloration goes more solid and vibrant even just 1 week using it together with V4.

I hung my V4 and OR 14inch above water and my tank depth for shallow part is 18inch and drop off part 30inch. I am really proud to say that V4 offer the best spectrum and more than suffice Par coverage for more than 3ft length and 3ft depth for only using 1V4 like what they advertise. You just need to plug n play and don't have to bother your setting were not ok and bleaching your premium coral. You don't have to spend more on buying diffuser just because you choose what other reefer think best and popular. You end up spend more which have to buy 2-3units of those popular brand. You felt very frustrated when u get to know your friend diy led same cluster and spectrum like your popular brand which you spend fortune to buy it. V4 offer 14 custom led which not like normal led you can get out there. Research, studies and tons of feedback compiled and all these hard work effort just simply not because want to be the best but it's all thanks to Orphek CEO himself, Ofir ****rit who loves reef and really care about them until he successfully developV4 which the closest mimic truly what our coral deserve is to feel the natural spectrum and reef environment. Thanks again Ofir for the recommendations and advise and it is really a worth investment unless you plan to have your tank for 1-2 years you may buy other popular brands out there.

I looked at these lights before going Mitras as well. Few things:

This post is 7 months old, but following up because I am thinking of switching from Mitras to Orpheks. The Mitras have great spread + color, but disappointing power + software. I've emailed Orphek and I've only had excellent + prompt replies, so no complaints there. BRS selling them provides a great customer service back-up.

Ignoring money, multiple G4 with diffusers are the safe best. I really liked the color of the Orphek @ 100% in the BRS video. I tend to prefer the T5/LED hybrid look on the whiter side and would go with an Aurora but it's too PAR limited. I'll intend to sell the Mitras on my 24x20x20 tank.

How is the light spill? One reason I was considering the Orphek over the Radions or AP700 on the new 36x20x26 tank is to minimize light spill in the living room. Does anyone know if the Orphek 9" above the water has less spill than the Ecotech + Kessil?

Orphek seems like it would be a great fit for the money on your new dimensions. If BRS was selling the Orphek's and had done the video beforehand, I might have bought those, but their sizes still don't really fit a four foot tank for me. Their compact is not substantially cheaper than the larger one, but two of the larger ones would be over four feet across. I'll let someone comment on light spill, but it's probably much better than Mitras now:)

I didn't think radions were that bad on light spill, I would think 2x XR15s would be great on those dimensions too.

+1 with Oprphek customer service. All email correspondence has been very prompt and thorough.

I just ordered one of the OR120 UV strips to add some more "pop" and a little par to my current setup

Last post was couple months ago but hopefully some will chime in
Would this light work on a tank 60 long by 36 wide by 25 high? Not to concerned about the length cause it would still leave me 6 inches on both sides for less light dependent corals. I am concerned about if it would cover my width of 36 inches

I have both Kessil 360 and Compact V4 on different tanks. Far prefer the Orphek. Can’t comment on the AP700.mineis over a 24” cube so you should have more than enough coverage.
Hey, A quick question for you. Which light do you think make the coral "pop"more? Thanks I have an a360x. I'm thinking to swith to either orphek or radion.

I think it really depends on the corals you want to keep @dbq5anlxj in another thread where you asked the question someone who has had both said they preferred the pop of the Orphek.
