1st impression of the Blade are pretty good.
no sloppy work or exposed wires like I have seen in other copies. Opened one so far

connection to the AI app was fast and easy.

best of all ultra low profile on the tank.
Here is a pic of the blade next to a built my led light bad next to an Ai prime for reference.

You barely can even notice the blade, I like the minimal look of it!!

Looking good so far. Can’t wait to see it wet.
thanks my friend, cant believe how slow this build is going.
still trying to figure out the layout of the sump. decided to get the Hydros X4/XP8 pro back!
but that adds yet another layer of complexity to the sump. that dang UV along with a huge skimmer and reef mat making thing a bit challenging.

it will get there. hopefully soon. :)

slowest build in the history of R2R...but some progress has been made.
tank went through a 2,5 month cycle got some gorgs and macros in for guld coast ecosystems.
all came in happy with the 2 day air shipping.
one of the macros melted and no going through a bac. bloom. need to turn on the UV.
filtering water as we speak goona do a nice big WC turn on the skimmer and UV that should clear it up.

Any more updates? I like the aquascape. Are the reef rocks that pink in person?
Hey hey
sorry for not posting updates. I have been battling some algae. most of the macros are not looking to good.
spent # weeks in Thailand in Nov. then a week in Mexico over Xmass new year for a family thing.
so no Sh in the tank yet. I wanted to wait until after all that travel.

yes the rocks look like that in person its the real ref rock except the center piece.

i'll post some current mid ugliness pics. I think I am slowly winning the battle.

not 100% sure to be honest.
my fav. melted than an explosion of algae.

at 1st I thought it was bacterial but was ID as Chrysophytes:

here 's a video when it was looking bad:

The Macros and gorgonians didn't look too bad. Hopefully you get everything under control so you can add the ponies eventually.
