Good job reefkeeper. I did enjoy your build. I am starting my 100 now and will be using some ideas from your build. Can't remember where i saw it but other than Components 1,2,3 what else are you using?

I am using the full probiotic method. This includes

The Probiotic salt, A, B, V, and E supplements.

Components 1,2,3

I also have other systems that I run on the reef salt and components 1,2,3.

I use all of Aquaforest's products, just about everything they make . [emoji4]

Trying out the new air purifier by Aquaforest!

The bottom half is carbon and the top half is soda lime for CO2 scrubbing.

Yes it's a scrubber and air purifier. It has a divider plate and sponges so you can spit it like this. Of coarse you can also run just pure carbon or straight soda lime.

Yes it hooks directly to your skimmer air intake. [emoji4][emoji6]

Very good quality , nice thick acrylic and the lid is solidly built also! [emoji4]

Without getting into to much detail , people have been using Activated carbon in air filters for a long time and this is why.
Activated carbon is great at removing airborne chemicals, including alcohols, organic acids, aldehydes, chlorinated hydrocarbons, ethers, esters, ketones, halogens, sulfur dioxide, sulfuric acid, and phosgene, among many others. It also removes odors, whether they be from humans or animals. It removes perfumes, household cleaning chemicals, and is especially good at removing volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Sometimes the carbon is treated with oxygen and another chemical, often a potassium. This creates a chemisorbent, which is better at removing inorganic gases and gases that are highly chemically-reactive. So in short it cleans and purifies the air . [emoji4] lol [emoji23]

For this product I really don't believe a YouTube video is needed , it's very straight forward.

Now if ya'all want more pictures of it I'm sure I can oblige.

Sorry about the " ya'all" just got back from New Orleans.... aka "Nawlins" [emoji23] lol

Tank looking good. Notice any difference in the air purifier?

Tanks looking great! Air purifier is working very well. I've also noticed that my soda lime is lasting longer than it used to. [emoji4]

I am no longer running an air hose outside. I do still have the soda lime on an air pump into the sump and I run the air purifier . 1/2 on the bottom is activated carbon and the top half is soda lime. [emoji6]
