Nah. I just did some more research and saw the error of my ways... @hybridazn is stirring the pot...pay him no mind...he's got lots of pain meds in his system. Earlier he was dancing around his living room with his crutches singing "Let it Go" at the top of his lungs.

I have 2 of them over my Red Sea Reefer 250 and could not be happier. I had Hydra 52s over my old 125 before I took it down and I like the look/color of the Primes a lot more. Plus the wireless control, can't beat it.

Personally, I would recommend one per 12" of tank length. I have 5 on a 60" and love them. I'm not having any issues growing whatever I want. Here's a couple of quick videos of mine with them on there:
