I would say so, yeah. AIOs are cool in that it's still one tank, but with in-built chambers for you to do a lot of stuff.I have an oase 75 ( 20 gallon ) and its proving to be not very saltwater friendly. I would like to have a mini refugium and maybe a sump. Is an all in one the best style in this situation?
I would add a seachem tidal on mine but the way the lights are held, with a glass piece and with the water level being alot lower its not possibleI don't find AIOs flexible at all. You are locked into their design, and mostly square formats. Square tanks are tricky for beginners.
Give me a 20L and HOB over flow anyday.
