I love orange oxides because of how fast they grow in my tank and the very vivid color they have.

On the contrary stuff like those brown and ugly looking colors that will just take over a tank are a no for me.
They are bright orange no matter what light spectrum you have them under. They do look good no matter what you use!

GMKs are really pretty, but they're far too expensive for me. I also don't know if they're prone to melting at all. Now, if they were reasonably priced, I'd be all over 'em.

One of my favorite zoas ever was a no-name, tiny-polyped one I got from a place that doesn't usually sell named corals. These guys: https://www.reef2reef.com/attachments/1600911626058-png.1797682/
Sadly, mine have since melted. Had some parameter issues that took them out. They nearly regrew from a tiny lump, then gave up and died. If anyone's got these for sale, lemme know! I want to have some again.

My favorites in my tank are utter chaos and little shop of horrors.

My least favorite are Mohicans.

My favorite zoa is probably my pink diamonds, I just love their coloration.
An honorable mention would be my orange oxide zoas, orange coral will always have a special place in my heart.

my least favorite would probably be pandoras. Don't get me wrong I think they are stunning corals, its just that they have a tendency to absolutely conquer every inch of rock.

I have quite the mix going on this Tonga branch rock.
* Eagle Eyes
* Sunny D’s
* Radioactive Dragon Eyes
* Utter Chaos
* Rainbow Infusion
* Rasta’s

Still want to add a few more classics above and below this rock. Thinking after reading this thread and missing colors I’m leaning towards:
* Pink Zipper
* Fruit Loops
* Blue Eyes Blonde *******
* Bowsers

never got very jazzed up about zoas, and that was when you could buy a rock with 50polyps for like $35.

Dont get how people spend $100pp.

To each his own

Worst has to be anything that spreads as fast as Pandoras/Nirvanas
There’s some spectacular polyps out there that make it really tough to pick just one as a favorite.

The three favorites *at the moment* and names they were sold as…

1st pic
Top rack: Predator
Lower polyps: TSA Spellbinder

2nd Pic: Sopranos

Rudy broke the system with the GMKs. In my opinion they’re akin to NFTs and Cryto currency at large. Are they pretty? Certainly, were they ever worth $1300pp? Likely not.

Best zoa of all time? Likely utter chaos followed closely by rastas. Are these my favorite? No, but they’re high on that list and have done well by thousands and thousands of reef keepers.

Worst zoa of all time? Likely nirvanas and not solely because they get out of control. There was a time in 2017 or maybe 2018 when people were trying to huck them for $100pp or more.
Do you play EQ perchance? Your use of pp at the end reminds me of the currency in that game. Lol
