I enjoyed these Bob Marley’s for 2 reasons First, they have some good color to them and formed a nice dense mat. Second, they grew like a weed for me! I was able to frag them regularly and sell super cheap to my local reef buddies (like $2-$5pp). It helped offset some of the cost of the tank and kept them under control!

I just LOVE zoas, but I don't love them all! Matter of fact some zoanthids I just loathe! We're going to continue talking zoanthids today and we would love to have your input on this topic!

1. Is the Grand Master Krakatoa Zoa the best zoanthid of all time? If not then what is?

2. What is the WORST zoanthid to have in your reef and why is that?

Literally picked these up today. The store I got them from don't know the name but they are awesome (In person they are a vibrant blue/purple). I love the white speckle on the tentacles. Other favorite zoas are Jedi Mind Tricks and Grim Reapers.

I don't know what the best zoa would be, but these Sun Eaters of mine are the worst. Even in heavy blues I wasn't able to get them to look that great, now they've taken up a lot of real estate and annoy me. Can't even remove the rock because it holds too much together :(

Stupid Sun Eaters, you looked so pretty on the website yet you betray me

I’ve had success eradicating “nuisance “ zoas or palys with a shot of aiptasia X right in the kisser. Do a few every day til they’re gone.

I don't know if these are a new morph, or an oldie, but I ran across these online. They're called Wolverines. If that is the true color then I'd say they're my new fav.

I have Wolverines, and those look nothing like them but WOW! I don’t care what they are called but if they look like that in my tank, sign me up!

for now I would say gmk since they grew like a weed for me luckily. Here's just a few larger plugs i have. But if I can get my stratosphere to grow like these then I'll say strat is my favorite lol least favorite so far would have to be fire and ice or pandoras

Interesting, I've got F-Aiptasia and have been considering using that and smothering the little guys but worried them dying would be bad for the tank

My favorites are probably the simple bright blue Caribbean zoas. But the fricken red twizzlers, my god. They take over everything in my tanks. Never again.
I have Twizzlers and they are one of the slower growing ones for me. Im most worried about my orange oxides, incinerators, and laser lemons.

I love orange oxides because of how fast they grow in my tank and the very vivid color they have.

On the contrary stuff like those brown and ugly looking colors that will just take over a tank are a no for me.
