I have Twizzlers and they are one of the slower growing ones for me. Im most worried about my orange oxides, incinerators, and laser lemons.

It's always so fascinating to me how different corals fare so differently in individual tanks. We should exchange water parameters haha

I agree. My orange oxides and twizzlers went in at the same time. Bothe were 3 to 4 polyp plugs. They are at opposite sides of the tank, but similar height and flow.

For those who know me in the hobby, I am a hardcore SPS collector going back well over a decade. But for whatever reason, I have a lot of GMK and RR Pink Diamonds growing like weeds in one my grow out tanks.

Really interested in your water parameters , lighting (intensity , time , types) , and routines / feeding . Please share when you have some time.

I just got my first ones - about 9 or 10 polyps of AOI zoas. I love them! Really hope they do well. Participating in a growout contest for my local reef society.

As far as the ones I personally like the best, I'd include:
Bowser
AOI
Magicians
Pink Zippers
Purple Death Palys

In my opinion, the worst are any that look super awesome under heavy blues but dull/brownish under white lights (I prefer to view the tank with more whites).

Stratospheres are my favourites...Had a bunch and they melted.

Had no idea of their name or value till I came up on a pic on a FB forum one day. Then I just wept.

Everyone says Pandoras are evil and they are.......but they are kinda pretty.

Proper evil for me is Captain Jerk Palys. I once took a giant rock and put it up in a tree to dry cause I was so mad.

I don't know how Jason Fox put his name against this pest.

Let’s bring this thread back to life!!! Zoa lover here 24/7. Im currently at 68 different ones and I frag monthly.

Im rather fond of my Stratosphere as my favorite. Got as a single and now a double 6 weeks later woohoo

. Might be a long process for a colony lol

The best zoanthids are the basic green palys. Under good lighting and once they've grown out, they beat any multicolor 700$ frag. I like the kraks, but they are not the best zoa in my opinion.

These things grow like weeds and have taken over my tank! I have a bunch of them for you if you want them lol I sure wish my high ends grew like these! lol
