Nice article. I'm having a tank made and they recommended I have custom lids made. (at an extra cost of course) The more that I thought about that, the more I realized that I would be creating a green house. I backed out of the kids. I figured that I could always go to Home Depot or Lowe's and get some basic screening to keep fish from jumping if need be. I elected to go with a coast to cost to do my best to break surface tension and create the best oxygen exchange.... so acrylic lids would have been counterproductive.
