Hello all,

My name is Chayse and I love collecting and sharing my corals. I am a hardcore stick head and zoa fanatic. But I mostly specialize in high end and rare corals.
I have been reefing for a little over 3 years now and keeping freshwater for over 10 years.
So I’ll cut to the chase I am often seen at all the Ohio swaps and love sharing my corals with others. I have outgrown my display and about 9 months ago now I was on Craigslist and a lfs was going out of business that had 2 60g deep blue frag tanks lightly used so I bought them.
So the one will be 100% sticks grow out and the other will be more of a zoa grow out but also a frag tank for everything else connected together via a custom bashsea 72x18x18 sump.

So about my equipment I am a gear junkie and do not save a penny on my builds all my tanks are top of the line. I am a ecotech fan boy who believes my equipment is part of my great success in the hobby.
Tanks:
2 deep blue 60g each 48x24x12

Total water volume: 240 gallons

Stand:
While I have had many custom stands built this was my first homemade stand. These tanks are in my finished family room in our basement we had quite a time getting our 8ft pool table in so my idea was to make 2 4ft stands and out together to get the stand to look one piece. The stands were built by my uncle who has some woodworking experience but are not finished as he went to Florida for the winter, so the doors will be done in the summer.

Lighting:
sps tank will have 2 radion xr30 g5 pros with a aquatic life t5 hybrid with 2 ati purple plus and 2 ati actinic bulbs.

Zoa/frag tank will solely feature 2 radion xr15 gen5 pros

flow:
SPS tank will have 2 gyre 350s to start
Zoa/frag tank will have 2 gyre 330s to start

return:
I am running 2 returns on this system 1 to each tank. Both being ecotech M1’s.

Sump:
is a custom built Bashsea Reef signature series Ferrari Red and black 72-18-18

Skimmer:
Reef octopus elite 150 int

Controller:
Full 2016 Apex with Trident testing and extra energy bar with DOS and DDR. I have had a trident since summer and love it so far.

ATO:
ATK V2

Dosing:
Apex DOS with DDR. While I may have to move over to a calc reactor at some point I have had great success with dosing 2 part and am not very knowledgeable with calc reactors so I have decided to stick to dosing for as long as possible.

Heaters: BRS 1200 titanium controller system.

Racks: amazing custom made racks Locally made by @Carz to match the color scheme for the system.

Salt:
I use Red Sea blue bucket religiously

Rodi:
I use a BRS 7 stage 200gpd with the booster pump.
As some of you know I was using a brs 4 stage that I had used since my beginning when I encountered some city water issues that got through and I lost 6k in sps and many gems that are forever lost in the hobby. So I have had zero issues with the 7 stage from then on out.

Thanks everyone for looking and pictures to follow!

Hopefully should be wet in a month, it’s taken long enough lol. I am currently waiting on the sump and my refugium light (kessil h380).

edit: I went with the newly released kessil a360x refugium light.

Looking good. Those stands came out great. And nice white camaro in the garage? What is it?
Thank you!
It’s a 92 RS 25th anniversary edition. My mom bought it new drove it for a while had me in 99 my dad had a suburban at the time but decided they needed still 2 family cars. So she sold it because my stroller wouldn’t fit in it and got into Cadillac’s then back in about 2010 or so my dad was driving through a small town above us and saw a white camaro so he went and looked it had the sticker he had put in it. So he put a note in the mailbox saying he would buy it so we bought it back and restored it.

Thanks guys,
The stands came out great we actually stained them a first time but they came out in a ugly red so we had to sand and restrain. I’ll have to look at the stain color.
