Hello all,
My name is Chayse and I love collecting and sharing my corals. I am a hardcore stick head and zoa fanatic. But I mostly specialize in high end and rare corals.
I have been reefing for a little over 5 years now and keeping freshwater for over 10 years. Edit: 12/04/12
The grow out system has now turning into a main system with adding a new custom AGE 210g display (72x30x22) along with adding a Custom 80g Frag tank from CDA (48x24x16) for a system total of 550 gallons.
So I’ll cut to the chase I am often seen at all the Ohio swaps and love sharing my corals with others. I have outgrown my display and about 9 months ago now I was on Craigslist and a lfs was going out of business that had 2 60g deep blue frag tanks lightly used so I bought them.
So the one will be 100% sticks grow out and the other will be more of a zoa grow out but also a frag tank for everything else connected together via a custom bashsea 72x18x18 sump.
So about my equipment I am a gear junkie and do not save a penny on my builds all my tanks are top of the line. I am a ecotech fan boy who believes my equipment is part of my great success in the hobby.
Tanks:
AGE 210g (72x30x22)
CDA 80g (48x24X16)
2 deep blue 60g each 48x24x12
Total water volume: 550 gallons
Stand:
AGE: marine epoxied steel stand with wood skin and canopy build by AGE.
CDA: Custom wood stand built by Chris Bender of Sticks n Stones
2 60g frag tanks: While I have had many custom stands built this was my first homemade stand. These tanks are in my finished family room in our basement we had quite a time getting our 8ft pool table in so my idea was to make 2 4ft stands and out together to get the stand to look one piece. The stands were built by my uncle who has some woodworking experience but are not finished as he went to Florida for the winter, so the doors will be done in the summer.
Lighting:
AGE main display: 4 Ecotech xr30 G5 pros and 4 72" Reef Brite XHO

Sump:
is a custom built Bashsea Reef signature series Ferrari Red and black 72-18-18

Calc Reactor:
Deltec Twintech 1500
Heaters: BRS 1200 titanium controller system.
Racks: amazing custom made racks Locally made by @Carz to match the color scheme for the system.
Salt:
I use Red Sea blue bucket religiously
Rodi:
I use a BRS 7 stage 200gpd with the booster pump.
As some of you know I was using a brs 4 stage that I had used since my beginning when I encountered some city water issues that got through and I lost 6k in sps and many gems that are forever lost in the hobby. So I have had zero issues with the 7 stage from then on out.
Thanks everyone for looking and pictures to follow!
